ALL ARE WELCOME!
Elementary Library Hours 8:30 am – 3:20 pm
Librarian Kathleen Bergeson
Welcome Stewart Stars!
Stewart School Library has an extensive collection of picture, chapter and non-fiction books. Elementary students have the opportunity to visit their school library with their class each week. During that important visit, students hear literature read aloud and engage in fun reading activities. They learn to use the library to self-select books and resources for their own reading or to do research for school assignments. Students look forward to their library times and the opportunity to find just the right book. Our libraries are an essential part of our schools.
*We have made changes to our library routines to keep everyone safe with masks and social distancing, quarantine of returned books and extra cleaning.

Stewart Star Summer Readers 2021
Our Stewart Star Readers were the very first students to experience the brand new LLL - Lukkes Learning Lounge as their reward for reading an average of 20 minutes every day over the summer! It was an awesome celebration for 46 Stewart Super Star Readers!
Winter Break Reading BINGO
We had 55 Stewart Stars participate in Winter Break Reading BINGO '21! We headed outside for a bonus recess of winter fun to celebrate their wonderful winter reading accomplishment!!
Reading Tips:
Grab a Book, Grow a Mind! It’s a fact. The more kids read, the more successful they’ll be in school – and in life! Read 20 minutes every day!
