We will continue our discussions and collaboration with local and state health care officials regarding the Coronavirus COVID-19. We share your concerns regarding this matter and appreciate your support, as well as working together in protecting your children, yourself and those around you by practicing good personal hygiene practices.
The Yankton School District is taking steps for additional cleaning/sanitizing of facilities, as well as additional reminders to students and staff about good hygiene practices at school. We will continue to update you as we received updates from local and state health care officials.
As with past concerns with Measles, Mumps and Flu we will require students to remain at home if infected with the Coronavirus COVID-19. Additional school wide decisions may be made in consultation with local and state health care officials if needed.
