To create a community of alumni and friends who support the development of educational and extracurricular opportunities in the Yankton School District.

The Yankton School District Alumni Association builds a community of proud Yankton alumni and champions from across the state, the country, and the world. Together, we stay connected to our roots while paying it forward — supporting and enriching the education of future graduates.

Funding Focus Areas

• Scholarships: Supporting Yankton High School seniors in pursuing their post-graduation plans through scholarships that help open doors to their futures.

• Classroom Grants: Encouraging innovation in the classroom by providing educators with resources to implement creative and impactful learning experiences.

• Student Support: Providing assistance to students in need — ensuring every learner has access to the resources, supplies, and opportunities necessary to succeed.

• Staff Appreciation: Recognizing and celebrating the dedication of educational staff through meaningful signs of appreciation and support.
