TLC Cuties have officially arrived! 🍊🧡 Today we got to celebrate four bundles of joy that were born to some amazing moms at Trailhead Learning Center this school year.

TLC Oak Kids had a great time at Field Day! Thank you Mrs.Tramp, Runza Rex, and all of the parent volunteers! What a great morning!

What a year in Junior Kindergarten! 💛
We made messes, lost a few glue sticks, sang VERY loudly, asked 4,000 questions, and somehow learned a whole bunch too! 😂🎨📚We are so proud of our Jr.K class of 2026! 🎓🌈

The Zoomobile came to visit, and our students loved meeting some amazing animal friends up close! A huge thank you to Trail Mix for helping make this fun experience possible 💛✨

Today in Jr.K we turned our treats into tiny underwater worlds — and yes, a few fish “accidentally” swam right into our bellies!

What a fun day in preschool! We loved having Jeff Erickson come sing songs and play guitar. The kids had an absolute blast singing, dancing, and laughing along to the music. So many smiles and happy memories were made! Thank you, Jeff, for sharing your music and making our day so special! 🎶🎸💛

Today was such a magical day in preschool as we released our butterflies! 🦋 Watching our students experience the full life cycle—from tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies—has been such an exciting journey. Their smiles, wonder, and excitement as the butterflies took flight made this moment so special. These little hands and big hearts learned so much through this experience! 💛

These last few weeks of school in Jr.K feel extra special. It’s a sweet reminder that learning doesn’t always look like worksheets… sometimes it looks like laughter in the grass and a bubble drifting just a little too far away.💛

Watching our butterflies grow from tiny caterpillars to chrysalises and finally beautiful butterflies has been such a special experience in preschool! Today we released them outside, and the excitement and wonder on the children’s faces was absolutely priceless. So thankful for these little moments of learning, curiosity, and joy! 🐛🦋💛

Happy birthday (a day late) to our amazing High School intern, Miss Muth! Jr.-K is a better place with you here! We hope you know how special you have been to all students and teachers! 🎂

Author Coach Sloth is coming to our Yankton Elementary Schools next week, May 11-13! We are so excited to meet him and hear his inspiring stories!
Order forms to purchase his books are coming home and can be returned to your child's school office before his visit. Coach Sloth will be signing these books during his visits.
Coach Sloth will also be at the Yankton Community Library on Monday, May 11th at 6 pm!
