The cast of the YHS one-act play brought stuffed animals to sit in the theater since today is our final rehearsal before we have a (human) audience.

The Bucks got off to a slow start tonight vs Huron. While they continued to fight to the end, they just couldn't recover, falling 45-55. It will be another quick turnaround for the Bucks, as they travel to Brandon Valley tomorrow. Tip off is set for 7:30pm. GO BUCKS!!!

The Ed Rising Chapter and Mrs. Ladwig's Introduction to Education class put their passion into action. To assist with the national kindness week, groups of students went to Stewart and Lincoln Elementary to read a book and help share a moment of kindness! Thank you to all!

With one week until the community performance, YHS students in the one act play started Monday's rehearsal with some friendly movement competitions to help wake everyone up! 🎭

Last night saw the Bucks and Rough Riders both battling to pick up their 3rd win of the season. Once again the defense for the Bucks proved to be their strength, but they just couldn't score enough in the end, falling 40-49. Next game will be at Huron on January 30.  GO BUCKS!!!
It was a great night for our Buck & Gazelle wrestlers to enjoy a nice meal as well as be together on a weekend off from wrestling!  Thank you to Dan Slowey for cooking us a great meal tonight! Thank you Monte James for buying the brisket for the event. Lastly, we would like to thank Mount Marty University for allowing us to use their facility for this awesome team-building event!

Mrs. Ladwig's Introduction to Education class experienced their THIRD panel in their series exposing them to all the different roles in education. Today featured a SRO (Russenberger), a school psychologist (Welter), a nurse (Mitzel), and a behavioral SPED teacher (Houdek)!!




After a number of close games so far this season, the Bucks picked up a big road win tonight by defeating SF Jefferson 49-46. The Bucks will look to build off of this win as they get ready to play SF Roosevelt at the Summit on Friday. Tip off is set for 7:00pm. GO BUCKS!!!

The Bucks hung tough with O'Gorman in the first half of today's game, but the Knights pulled away in the second half on their way to a 66-43 victory. Next game for the Bucks will be at SF Jefferson on Tuesday to take on the Cavaliers. Tip off is set for 7:00pm. GO BUCKS!!!
The Bucks lose another close one tonight, falling to Watertown 56-54. The Bucks have to bounce back quickly though, as they travel to SF O'Gorman tomorrow for a double header against the Knights. Tip off for the boys is set for 2:00pm. GO BUCKS!!!
