Webster hosted their annual Scripps Spelling Bee contest this afternoon. The students set records...most rounds completed without an error and most rounds completed until the top three places were declared! We are so proud of ALL these participants as it takes a lot of courage!

There will be no school in the Yankton School District on Wednesday, November 25, a conferences compensation day, or Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. School will resume on Monday, November 30.

Webster School gathered for a school photo to kickoff our annual OLWEUS anti-bullying campaign. Thanks to staff and friends of Webster, a shirt was purchased for every student sharing the message: Listen With Your Heart.
Parent/Teacher Conferences intended for Tuesday, November 10 for Yankton School District students in Preschool – 5th Grade have been rescheduled on Tuesday, November 17 at the same times. If your scheduled time doesn’t work for you, please contact the office where your child attends school.

These Webster Winners were Caught Being Good this week. Students earn tickets for good behavior, such as being an ally, demonstrating respect or a modeling positive leadership. Tickets are drawn out each week and announced for all to hear - definitely something to be proud of!
The Yankton School District's Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences are postponed for today, November 10. You will receive notification of the rescheduled day in the near future.
