
Due to the early morning temperatures, Yankton School District will have a 2 hour late start, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16. The weather forecast indicates the temperatures improving mid-morning and throughout the day. There will be no morning preschool at Webster School and no morning Special Education Preschool at Stewart. All buses will run approximately two hours later than their normally scheduled time. Due to being in a Winter Storm Warning with additional snow accumulation and strong winds predicted, there will be no school for the Yankton School District tomorrow, Friday, January 12, 2024. There is no school and no activities tomorrow.


Due to the forecasted winter storm moving into the area and being in a winter storm warning with much of the accumulating snow forecasted to begin later this afternoon, Yankton School District will have an early release today, Thursday, January 11 at 1:30 pm. There will be no PM Early Intervention at Stewart and no PM Preschool at Webster. Buses will run accordingly.

After assessing the road conditions in the rural areas, the late start for Yankton School District has been canceled. Yankton School District will not have school today, Tuesday, January 9 due to the poor road conditions in the rural bussing areas.

Beadle Kindergarten has Christmas Spirit in Mrs. Frick's class! Oh what fun it was to see them preform for their family and at The Center !











Beadle Kindergarteners had a great morning having their Holiday Concert in front of families, and then going to The Center to sing for people in the community. Happy Holidays from the kindergarteners at Beadle!





The final day of classes for students in all grades prior to Christmas Vacation will be Thursday, December 21 and will be an early dismissal at 2:00 pm.
JrK-12th grade will be dismissed at 2:00 pm and buses will run accordingly. There will be no PM Preschool classes at Webster School or PM Early Intervention Preschool at Stewart School. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
