Mrs. Curtis's class enjoyed a Halloween Crankenstein book, writing project, and craft brought in by Mrs. Mueller. We definitely weren't cranky doing all the fun activities!

Beadle Kindergarteners had a great time at the fire station during Fire Prevention Week! Students got to learn about firetrucks, firefighters, sit in a firetruck, and spray the fire hose. Thank you to the Yankton Fire Department and Firefighters Adam and Josh!

The end of the first quarter is Thursday, October 19. School will be in session on that day. A one-day in-service program for Yankton School District staff will be held on Friday, October 20. There will be no school for Yankton Public School students in Preschool through Grade 12 on this day. School will resume on Monday, October 23.

Anyone age 6 months and older can receive a free flu shot at the Yankton High School Auxiliary Gym at 1801 Summit Street on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This flu clinic is sponsored and operated by the Emergency Management of Yankton County and Yankton/Bon Homme POD.
