Beadle Elementary 2nd Grade would like to thank the Yankton Medical Clinic, Yankton Rotary and Ace Bike and Fitness for our brand new bike helmets. Thanks also to USD med students for helping to fit each helmet.

Mr. Garvey's 4th Grade class celebrated Earth Day by helping to pick up our playground at Beadle. The students worked hard to gather and return rubber chips to the swing & equipment area so that all Beadle Bugs have a safe place to play!






Thank you Ranger Abby with the National Park Service at Missouri National Recreational River for presenting to the Beadle fourth graders. The students learned about National Parks all over the US and received a free pass to the National Parks.




Congratulations Sutton on winning 1st place for your grade level in the American Legion Auxiliary essay contest! If you zoom in, you can read her amazing essay on Americanism.


Mrs. Curtis's class made adorable panda bears! We're so proud of how our chalk art turned out. Great job, everybody.

Yankton American Legion Auxiliary recognized all the authors in Mrs. LaFave's 3rd Grade Class and presented Essay Contest Awards (L-R) Clara-Honorable Mention, Maverick-3rd Place, Kinleigh 2nd Place, & Dayton-1st Place.

Congratulations to Maya Nedved in Mrs. Kocmick's Beadle 5th grade class on receiving 3rd place in the American Legion Auxiliary Poetry Contest!




Beadle fourth graders loved the YHS performance of Annie! They were very excited when Drake, the butler, came on stage! Check the YSD website for information about the future performance dates and times.

Thank you First Dakota National Bank for giving our second graders at Beadle an amazing tour! They had so much fun and were excited to run into Tom from Junior Achievement!





Beadle 3rd grade scientists conducted research to learn about a variety of habitats and create a Habitat Diorama.






Beadle has had another great week! Congratulations to this week's Good Character Award winners!

Beadle 5th grade science students finished their space unit learning about constellations. Students researched constellations and made constellations with pipe cleaners and beads. Great job Beadle Bugs!

The Beadle Student Council Members had a great time at the Center. They toured the facility, learned about the services that are offered, helped members get food and clean up, and enjoyed a delicious meal. We want to thank the Center for having us, we had a great time!










The Beadle Student Council would like to thank the Beadle families for their donation to the March for Meals campaign. Beadle School raised $1,105.02 for The Center's Meals on Wheels program. The Boys team won the competition and will be having an extra recess on an upcoming spring day.
