Beadle third grade would like to extend a huge thanks to the East River Bon Homme Yankton Electric team in presenting the Co-op in the Classroom electricity program. We learned how to be safe around electricity and discovered where electricity comes from. It was a fun, educational, and hair raising lesson!

Mrs. Curtis's class got to learn all about Chinese New Year! We watched a video explaining the food, colors, and traditions that go along with the holiday. We read a book, colored a picture, and even enjoyed Chinese treats. We loved learning about the holiday from our classmate and her family. Thank you for sharing with us!

The Beadle Soup-er Bowl was a success! As a school, we collected 2,905 items. Mrs. Kocmick's class had the most items with 489 items. Thank you to our Student Council for collecting items each day and for loading and and unloading our collection at the Contact Center. They were also able to tour the Contact Center and learn about all it has to offer our community. Thank you to everyone for helping make this food drive a success!

All items need to be at school by 10:30 tomorrow so Student Council can load items and deliver them to the Contact Center.
