Welcome Back Beadle Bugs! Great to see our Beadle students who will graduate this weekend.

Kenley Stucky, from Mrs. Hunhoff's fifth grade class, won 1st place in the American Legion Auxiliary "Americanism" poetry contest.
Her poem will move on to the district level.

Second graders at Beadle enjoyed Glow Day! Reviewing skills is way more fun while glowing in the dark!





Beadle 4th graders presented on Notable South Dakotans to family, friends, and other Beadle students. Mrs. Lukkes's class had a blast showing off their hard work!










Mrs. Hunhoff's class enjoyed playing Captain on Deck for their last classroom counseling lesson. It has been a joy to have these 5th graders at Beadle the past 6 years! Good luck at YMS next year!



As we begin our last week of classes for 2024-2025, we want to celebrate our graduating seniors and look back to their time at Beadle. Here are our Beadle Bug alum as kindergarteners and 5th graders. Congratulations to our graduates and we are wishing you the best in your future plans!
Mrs. Bochman`s 3rd Grade Class had a fantastic field trip day!


Beadle third graders have enjoyed dissecting owl pellets to find out what owls like to eat. We researched owls and wrote about our dissection. Many of us found out that owls like to eat mice. We enjoyed sharing what we learned with each other.






Beadle Third Grade had the best field trip! Thank you to Lewis and Clark Visitors Center, Gavins Point Dam, Gavins Point Fish Hatchery and Aquarium, and the Yankton School District. We had the greatest day learning!





We have some pretty amazing winners for Beadle's last week of Good Character Awards for the 24-25 school year! Congratulations to this week's winners! Thank you to all of our students who work so hard at making good choices and doing the right thing! Keep it up !

Mrs. Sayler's class had some fun playing Captain on Deck, a Simon Says type game with a pirate flare. Everyone had a great time and it was a fun way to wrap up their last classroom counseling lesson of elementary school. We will miss seeing these smiling faces at Beadle!






3rd Grade Field Trip




It was an eventful day for Mrs. Frick's kindergartners and all the other kindergartners at Yankton Public Schools! We got to test out the new Early Childhood Center, for our youngest learners through Kindergarten:) It was a huge success and their reactions were priceless!









Sioux Falls Zoomobile was a great experience for the Kindergarteners at Beadle this week!




Beadle second grade enjoyed pajama and escape room day! They worked together to solve math puzzles and escape. Great teamwork, everyone!



Beadle 4th graders appreciated the beautiful morning on their walk to the Visual Arts Fair at YMS. They enjoyed finding their art and seeing all the other talented artists from YSD!










Beadle is starting out May by celebrating this great group of Good Character winners! Congratulations to our winners and keep it up!

Beadle 5th Graders had a great time checking out the talents of YSD students!



The final day of school for students for the 2024-2025 school year will be Friday,
May 16, 2025, and will be an early dismissal at 1:00 pm. There will be no PM
Preschool classes at Webster School or PM Early Intervention Preschool at Stewart
School. Report cards will be mailed to each student's home.

Beadle 4th graders in Mrs. Lukkes's class are working together to plan a vacation. They are using their math skills to problem solve so they stay under budget!
