It was our hurricane test day in science! Students in Mrs. Loecker's 3rd grade enjoyed seeing if their model houses could withstand a "hurricane"...aka fan and spray bottle. All the houses stayed standing, but we lost a few parts of some roofs!

Kindergarten and 1st grade students at Lincoln had a special visitor in Library this week as they read the book Sophie's Squash by Pat Zietlow Miller and Anne Wilsdorf. Mrs. DeLange's Kindergarteners are shown here with our new friend Bernice! We passed Bernice around and everyone had the chance to hold her. This was the first time some of us had seen a real live squash!

Lincoln kindergarten students have been having some fall fun while learning in the music room. They have created crunchy leaf sounds with instruments, used scarves to show melodic direction with falling leaves and sang about some perfect pumpkins. Music is fun!
