
Lincoln Leader 5th Grade Showcase-Mrs. Roth's students shared their creative and artistic "spooky" side with family, friends, and teachers! Thank you all for coming.

It was our hurricane test day in science! Students in Mrs. Loecker's 3rd grade enjoyed seeing if their model houses could withstand a "hurricane"...aka fan and spray bottle. All the houses stayed standing, but we lost a few parts of some roofs!






The "Coffee Cart" is up and going! Lincoln Elementary Student Council treated our staff with coffee and treats this morning! We appreciate each and every one of them so much! Thank you for all that you do!!!


I wish that I could have recorded the squeals of delight when Ms. Greene's Firsties were announced as the "Poppin up Leaders of the week!" It was a pretty amazing sound! Thank you to Kopetsky Ace Hardware for sponsoring this event! Your popcorn is delicious!!


Kindergarten and 1st grade students at Lincoln had a special visitor in Library this week as they read the book Sophie's Squash by Pat Zietlow Miller and Anne Wilsdorf. Mrs. DeLange's Kindergarteners are shown here with our new friend Bernice! We passed Bernice around and everyone had the chance to hold her. This was the first time some of us had seen a real live squash!




Mrs. Davison's class finished up a couple chapters in math with the Bakery Array activities.











This young man in Mrs. Bertsch's class met the 4th grade Math fact fluency goal in the first quarter!!! Way to go!! Mr. Beste and I hope everyone earns one this year. Keep up the hard work!!

Lincoln kindergarten students have been having some fall fun while learning in the music room. They have created crunchy leaf sounds with instruments, used scarves to show melodic direction with falling leaves and sang about some perfect pumpkins. Music is fun!











Future actors and actresses in Mrs. Stacey's 3rd grade classroom! We had a blast acting out a play from our Open Court books!










Lincoln Elementary Student Council members ROCK! They painted the plow today, and it looks amazing! We will add the words "Lincoln Leaders--In the Zone" as soon as it dries. What a great time!!



Mrs Evans's 1st Graders enjoyed a visit from the Yankton Fire Department. We learned "Don't Hide. Go Outside". Thank you YFD for taking time out of your busy day to help educate our youth about fire safety and prevention.
