Lincoln Elementary Student Council had fun filling some Easter baskets with crafts, eggs, candy, and other surprises. The baskets will be delivered to the River City Violence Center.

School, school and more school! Ms. Greene's "firsties" love school so much that when we earned extra game time, I looked up to see half of the class playing school for fun.

Practicing shaving cream with Mrs. Drotzmanns class.

Thanks to all the parents and relatives who came to support the third grade Lincoln Leader Showcase.

The 3rd Grade Leader Showcase was a success! Thank you so much to all the parents, grandparents, or other family members, plus several Lincoln staff that stopped in! Mrs. Loecker's class had a great time showing off what we have been learning this year!

These Lincoln second grade music students have been learning about the very fancy Baroque musical period. Today we learned about Vivaldi's music and life. We also analyzed and listened to his most famous musical piece, The Four Seasons.

Lincoln Elementary Student Council members are overjoyed with the March "Thank You" notes on our Appreciation Station! You Rock, Lincoln Leaders!!

Mrs. Loecker's 3rd graders have all finished writing their fantasy stories! We are so excited to share these with parents at our 3rd Grade Leader Showcase this Friday, March 22nd!

Happy Birthday to Ms. Beth! Mrs. Krejci's class at Lincoln is SO thankful for you!💙💛

Mrs. Hoesing's second graders loved exploring and building knowledge while interacting with STEM activities!

Lincoln fourth grade music class probably had the most fun with Irish dancing. They learned that it's ok to hold hands as long as you are dancing. The Irish dance they performed was called "The Waves of Tory".

Mrs. Loecker's 3rd graders earned inside recess today to play a game on our Chromebooks with a friend!

Brain break time in Mrs. Loecker's 3rd grade classroom is a highlight of every day! We like to get our energy out before we start math.

Mrs. Schaeffer's 2nd graders got creative with Leprechaun Traps today!! They used STEM skills to build a trap and sparkly art skills to try to lure him in! We'll find out on Monday if we caught him!

Second grade Lincoln students were introduced to the Irish folk dance "The Bonfire" in music today. We worked hard on our counting and shuffle steps!

Lincoln third grade music students performed an Irish folk dance to the Kerry Slide. This dance included double circles that rotated clockwise and counterclockwise with an A and B section to show the form of the song. Partners were constantly changing and we had to really focus on what came next.

Lincoln First grade musicians have been completing an instruments of the orchestra unit and learning about the composer Camille Saint Seans. This book has instruments and songs that portray each animal. Kids got to act out cuckoo birds jumping out from behind a tree, swan yoga, fossils hiding in a museum yoga, and many more.
