Due to being in a Winter Storm Warning with additional snow accumulation and strong winds predicted, there will be no school for the Yankton School District tomorrow, Friday, January 12, 2024. There is no school and no activities tomorrow.
Due to the forecasted winter storm moving into the area and being in a winter storm warning with much of the accumulating snow forecasted to begin later this afternoon, Yankton School District will have an early release today, Thursday, January 11 at 1:30 pm. There will be no PM Early Intervention at Stewart and no PM Preschool at Webster. Buses will run accordingly.
After assessing the road conditions in the rural areas, the late start for Yankton School District has been canceled. Yankton School District will not have school today, Tuesday, January 9 due to the poor road conditions in the rural bussing areas.
Due to inclement weather, Yankton School District will have a 2 hour late start, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9. There will be no morning preschool at Webster School and no morning Special Education Preschool at Stewart. All buses will run approximately two hours later than their normally scheduled time. There will be no school at Yankton School District 63-3 on Monday, January 15, in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 16.
