The second grade students from Lincoln traveled to the visitor’s center, had a picnic lunch, and hiked Smutty Bear trail in search of Spring life. Learning about and seeing plants and animals around us was such a valuable experience! Thank you to the adult chaperones who traveled with us and took time out of their busy days to spend time with us. Mrs. Evans and her class think YOU ROCK!

Miss Kearney, a YHS senior, is helping kindergarten students make Mother's Day projects. She comes to our school through the World of Work program. She will make an excellent teacher!

We took a small trip up the hill behind LIncoln School to release our butterflies! We really enjoyed watching our "babies" (caterpillars) grow up into beautiful butterflies. It was fun and at the same time, a little sad for some of us to say "goodbye". What a great way to learn about life cycles!
