The Bucks Wrestling season is under way! Today was the first practice and the wrestlers worked hard! We have 36 boys to start the season and the team is ready for a great, competitive season. Go Bucks!

What a great turnout for our first night of Young Bucks Camp! We had over 125 up and coming Bucks looking to get better and of course, have some fun!!!

Over the Halloween weekend, many of our outstanding YHS musicians took part in South Dakota's All State Choir and Orchestra concert. These students in band, choir, or orchestra auditioned and were selected to be among the best of the best in our state! Over 100 instrumentalists and around 1,000 vocalists filled the Denny Sanford Premiere Center on Saturday with professional-grade music.

Congrats, musicians! We're very proud of you!

A group of YHS Educators Rising students joined more than 200 students today at an SDSU education exposition. The group enjoyed break out sessions, a keynote from the 2025 SD Teacher of the Year, a campus tour, and SDSU ice cream.

This past week we celebrated the Boys soccer team's season with the end of season awards banquet. The coaches are so thankful and proud of our players. Thank you to our seniors and all you have done for our program!

FFA Test Plot is complete, thanks to a couple of fantastic students! Field average was 64 bushels per acre. Huge thanks to Astec Industries, Growmark FS, Tabor Lumber Coop, Helena Agri-Enterprises, and many more for helping make it possible!

After their 35-19 victory over Sioux City East, the freshman football team closed out their season with a perfect 8-0 record.
