The Yankton Bucks turned in a dominant and complete performance Friday in Sioux Falls, sweeping both Milbank and Sioux Falls Jefferson by identical 9-0 scores. Against Milbank, Yankton was overpowering from the opening flight, allowing almost no resistance across the lineup. The Bucks rolled through singles with a string of decisive wins, including 10-0 victories from Luke Moeller, Jack Pedersen, Conner Mitzel, Ivan Krajewski, Camden Pietz, and Gibson Brooks. Doubles was just as sharp, highlighted by shutout wins from the teams of Chris Rockne/Ethan Marsh and Conner Mitzel/Ivan Krajewski. The result showed excellent depth, with nearly every player controlling points and finishing quickly. The second dual against Sioux Falls Jefferson may have been even more impressive because it came against a larger-school opponent on its home courts. The Bucks again swept all nine counted points, showing strength in both varsity-style sets and extended JV flights. At the top, Harrison Krajewski, Luke Moeller, Chris Rockne, and Ethan Marsh all delivered convincing singles wins, while the No. 1 doubles team of Krajewski/Moeller closed out a strong 6-2, 7-5 victory. Lower flights continued the momentum with multiple 10-game wins, proving Yankton’s lineup depth from top to bottom. Overall, this was a statement day for the Bucks: 2 dual wins 18 total team points won No dual points surrendered Dominance across both varsity and JV flights Strong consistency from the top of the lineup through the developmental positions The Bucks showed elite depth, focus, and stamina in a two-dual day, making it one of their most complete performances of the season.

2026 Bucks & Gazelles Soccer Schedule
🎾 Yankton Bucks split their home doubleheader on Tuesday, moving to 8-1 on the season! The day began with a tough test against Brandon Valley, where the Bucks suffered their first loss of the season, 8-1. Even in defeat, Yankton showed fight and resilience throughout the lineup. Conner Mitzel battled his way to a thrilling 8-7(3) win at No. 7 singles, while Ivan Krajewski added an 8-3 victory at No. 8 singles. In doubles play, Jack Pedersen and Nels Hanson earned a strong 10-6 win at No. 3 doubles, showing the team’s ability to respond under pressure. The Bucks bounced back in impressive fashion in the second dual, sweeping Sioux Falls Roosevelt 9-0. Yankton dominated from the opening serve, winning every singles and doubles flight. Strong performances came across the board from Harrison Krajewski, Luke Moeller, Chris Rockne, Ethan Marsh, Jack Pedersen, Zane Becker, Conner Mitzel, and Ivan Krajewski, while the doubles teams completed the shutout to cap an outstanding response. The split gives Yankton an 8-1 season record, and the team now turns its focus to Friday’s trip to Sioux Falls to take on Sioux Falls Jefferson and Milbank. A great bounce-back effort and another strong day of tennis for the Bucks! 💪🎾 #GoBucks #YanktonTennis
