The Bucks picked up their first win today by defeating Brookings 52-47. They will look to build off of this win and prepare to take on Huron @ home on Tuesday. On a special note, the 2023 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER will be dropped before the game! Tip off is 7:00pm. GO BUCKS!!!

YHS Bring Change to Mind club hosted a "relaxation station" in the Counseling Office to help students de-stress during semester tests.
Gift Givers celebrated 25 years of serving YSD families. Families received gifts, food, and household supplies that were purchased, wrapped and delivered by YHS students.
The YHS Wrestling team will be looking to stay hot when they compete against Brookings and SF Roosevelt in Brookings on Tuesday!
The Yankton Gazelles wrestling team competed at the Sioux Falls Washington Warrior Invite. Way to go Gazelles!
Great day at the SF Washington Warrior Invite. Your Bucks placed 3rd as a team and had 4 finalists including 2 individual champions Dylan Sloan and Bode Thurman. Onto Brookings and Sioux Falls Roosevelt next Tuesday. #GoBucks

The Bucks made a strong comeback tonight vs. SF Washington, but couldn't overcome the deficit in the end falling 37-53. The Bucks will now get ready for their first road game of the season when they travel to SF Lincoln on Friday. Tip is set for 7:00pm. GO BUCKS!!!
The final day of classes for students in all grades prior to Christmas Vacation will be Thursday, December 21 and will be an early dismissal at 2:00 pm.
JrK-12th grade will be dismissed at 2:00 pm and buses will run accordingly. There will be no PM Preschool classes at Webster School or PM Early Intervention Preschool at Stewart School. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
Please join the YHS Choir Students for their Holiday Cookie Walk and Concert on Thursday evening! The concert is at 7PM and grab some cookies before or after the concert!
The Bucks kicked off the 2023-24 Season tonight at Summit by taking on the Harrisburg Tigers. The Bucks had a strong first half, but fell to the Tigers 55-40 in the end. The Bucks next game will be home again on Tuesday v. SF Washington. Tip off is set for 7:00pm. GO BUCKS!!!
