A great trip West it was for the Bucks & Gazelles Soccer teams this weekend. The Bucks went 2-0 beating Douglas 7-0 and Spearfish 4-1. The Gazelles also finished 2-0 beating Douglas 7-1 and Spearfish 2-0. Both teams are back at it Thursday at O'Gorman. #YanktonSoccer
The golfing Bucks finished with a team score of 325 at the Huron Invitational on Friday, earning 6th place out of 13 teams. Easton Vellek carded a 79 to lead the Bucks and finish in a tie for 18th overall. The Bucks' next contest will be at Mitchell next Tuesday.
The Class of 2024 spent quality time together for a "Senior Sunrise" event at 6:30 a.m. to enjoy the sunrise through the clouds!

Four Bucks posted sub-80 rounds at the Pierre Invitational on Tuesday! Their combined score of 305 put them in 5th place as a team! Easton Vellek led the team with a +2 (74) to finish tied for 7th in a field of 94 golfers! 🦌⛳️
Due to forecasted heat for Monday, August 21 the Bucks & Gazelles home soccer match vs West Central has been postponed to September 21.
FOX RUN RESULTS // Easton Vellek led the Bucks Friday, carding a 76 (+4) and tying for 6th place out of 51 golfers. Yankton finished in 4th place, shooting a collective 319. Harrisburg won the team event with a 294. The Bucks are scheduled to play again next Tuesday in Pierre.
A couple of tough road losses for the Gazelles today.
Next up will be Aberdeen, Huron, Brookings, Harrisburg, and Roncalli next Friday and Saturday in Brookings.
Congratulations to Claire Kramer for being selected to the SD-ACDA Honor Choir! She attended the camp and performed this summer on the Augustana University campus.

Two more road wins bring the Gazelles to 4-0 on the season. Two tough opponents await when we match up against RCS and Watertown on Thursday.
Three Bucks golfers fired sub-80 rounds today at Bakker Crossing: Easton Vellek (+1, 72), Parker Riley (+4, 75) and Miles Krajewski (+8, 79). Vellek was the top Buck during the 2-day tournament, finishing in a tie for 18th place. The Bucks finished 8th out of 16 as a team.
Gazelle Tennis travels to Vermillion today to take on Lennox and Vermillion!
