We want to thank everyone for coming and supporting our Yankton High School Bucks and Gazelles Wrestling teams during their Intersquad Dual last night! We would also like to thank everyone who donated to our program through pledges for pins or the open free will donation last night. Finally, we would like to congratulate and thank Todd and Lisa Huber for purchasing and winning the silent auction for the old YHS wrestling record board! All money donated will go directly into the boys and girls wrestling accounts, so they may benefit by having the best experience possible this season! We are super excited to get this season underway next Thursday, December 4th against Beresford-AH and Watertown!

Wrestling record board silent auction! Tuesday, November 25, during the Red vs. Black Dual, the wrestling teams will be doing a silent auction for the old wrestling record board as a fundraiser. If you are interested, submit your name, info, and bid at the intersquad dual. Submissions can be entered starting at 4:30 Tuesday, until the end of the dual. You do not have to be there to win. The person with the higest bid, wins the board and will be announced at the end of the dual. The money from the silent auction will go directly to our boys and girls wrestling teams to support them this season.

The Bucks Wrestling season is under way! Today was the first practice and the wrestlers worked hard! We have 36 boys to start the season and the team is ready for a great, competitive season. Go Bucks!

What a great turnout for our first night of Young Bucks Camp! We had over 125 up and coming Bucks looking to get better and of course, have some fun!!!

Over the Halloween weekend, many of our outstanding YHS musicians took part in South Dakota's All State Choir and Orchestra concert. These students in band, choir, or orchestra auditioned and were selected to be among the best of the best in our state! Over 100 instrumentalists and around 1,000 vocalists filled the Denny Sanford Premiere Center on Saturday with professional-grade music.

Congrats, musicians! We're very proud of you!

A group of YHS Educators Rising students joined more than 200 students today at an SDSU education exposition. The group enjoyed break out sessions, a keynote from the 2025 SD Teacher of the Year, a campus tour, and SDSU ice cream.
