STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2024-2025
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open, with the process exclusively online. No paper forms will be distributed this year. If you are returning next year and are in grades K-4, we ask that you register by completing the annual census update in Infinite Campus. This update is a vital part of our record-keeping process and ensures that we have the most up-to-date and accurate information on file for your child. If you are not returning next year, please call your child’s school to inform them of your move.
Completing the census update will enable us to communicate important school-related information with you, such as emergency alerts, school events, and academic progress updates. It will also help us to ensure that our school is compliant with federal and state regulations, including those related to funding and program eligibility.
To complete the annual census update, login to your Campus Parent Portal account. From the “Menu”, select, “More”, and then “Online Registration”. Please complete your annual census update by May 3, 2024. For further instructions, please visit https://www.ysd.k12.sd.us/o/ysd/page/school-registration

We love it when our classmates share their musical talents. This Lincoln 4th grader shared his guitar playing in Mrs. Den Herder's music class. He performed "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison.

Instrument time is always a favorite time in Mrs. Den Herder's music class. Mrs. Gabel's first grade class had fun accompanying songs and singing in Forte (loud) and piano (quiet) voices.

Lincoln Elementary second graders had a fantastic time learning how to bike safe and bike smart. Thank you to the Yankton Rotary Club, Yankton Medical Clinic, Kopetsky's Ace Bike and Fitness, McDonalds, and the Yankton Police Department for donating and fitting the helmets. We appreciate your support and time to keep our children safe.

Mrs. Harris's Kindergarten students hard at work!

On a rainy, inside-recess day, after working hard on one of the state tests, Mrs. Loecker's 3rd grade class had a little fun with some oreo cookies. Have you ever tried the Oreo Cookie Challenge? It is harder than it looks, but we did have one student who was able to get the cookie from his forehead to his mouth without using his hands!

Mrs. Roth's Lincoln Leaders started off their Fantastic Friday with some Silent Ball! With not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 Koosh Balls!!!!

What a great ending to our week! Mrs. Schaeffer's Lincoln Leaders shared their famous people reports with friends and family. Their teacher was so proud of them!! (We love taking silly pictures too!)

Mrs. Bertsch's class loves the library!

Art is our favorite! Mrs. Davison's class working on a project for the art fair.

Lincoln Elementary 2nd Graders had some fantastic Famous Person presentations today! Great job 2nd Grade Leaders!

We love to sing in music and it's even more fun with a real microphone! Kindergarten students volunteered to sing one of our concert pieces as a solo in front of the music class. They are awesome leaders. Way to go!
