A big thank you to the high school student council for inviting us to participate in such fun and meaningful breakout sessions! From the leadership Bingo to the bracelet-making stations and kindness card activity, Lincoln Leaders had an amazing time engaging with everyone and learning together.

Mrs. Stacey's 3rd Graders at Lincoln love using math tools! Today, we used Geoboards and rubber bands to make quadrilaterals!

This morning, our Lincoln Student Council members practiced their “kind and unkind” recess skits during our meeting, and they did an amazing job!
Today, they had the opportunity to perform for all the kindergarten students, showcasing important lessons like how to line up respectfully, join in activities, include others, and make apologies. The skits were a fun and engaging way to teach positive behaviors on the playground, and our student council members truly shined in their performances. ✨✨✨✨

Another day in Mrs. Loecker's 3rd grade class, another day of pets coming to visit! This time we met a Sphynx cat and our seventh dog visitor.

Thank you to Cameron and Kyler (not pictured) from Elkhorn Valley Bank for coming into our classroom for Junior Achievement. Mrs. Krejci's second graders learned all about their community and the ways people in communities work, earn, and spend money.

Every year in March, the Lincoln music classes get to learn a bit about Ireland's history, culture, instruments, dance and songs. Mrs. Walter's fifth grade music class danced their fifth and final Irish dance of elementary school. This year they performed a dance called the Gates of London.

☘️LUCKY LINCOLN LEADERS☘️
Congrats to our bucket filler winners!

3rd Graders at Lincoln School hosted their spring Leader Showcase: Poet's Playground last Friday. We have been learning about poetry and took time to practice reading some of our favorites. Parents were invited to hear each student read a poem that they selected, and judges were invited in to reward 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place winners. All of the students in Mrs. Loecker's class did wonderful and all who were there to watch were very proud of them...including their teacher!!

Ms. Greene's "firsties" are whizzing through this measuring chapter! We are so smart!

We had a couple special guests visit us in our classroom today! Thank you for showing us your amazing Map Turtles! We thought they were pretty cool pets!
