Due to the forecasted storm moving into the area with the possibility of high winds, rain and hail, Yankton School District will have an early release today, Friday, April 26 at 2:00 pm. We want to get all of the students home safely ahead of the potential severe thunderstorm. There will be no PM Early Intervention at Stewart and no PM Preschool at Webster. Buses will run accordingly.

A huge thank you to Jane Pugh for volunteering her time to teach all of the Second Grade Stewart Stars about Africa!!!

Ms. Hento's 5th grade class at Stewart had to create boats/rafts for our "Sink or Float" STEM lab today in science. They could only use a paper plate, straws, play-doh and tape.
It was really fun watching them work together as a team and create such different boats/rafts.

Thank you to the Stewart PTA for putting on the Glow dance for the Stewart Stars!

STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2024-2025
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open, with the process exclusively online. No paper forms will be distributed this year. If you are returning next year and are in grades K-4, we ask that you register by completing the annual census update in Infinite Campus. This update is a vital part of our record-keeping process and ensures that we have the most up-to-date and accurate information on file for your child. If you are not returning next year, please call your child’s school to inform them of your move.
Completing the census update will enable us to communicate important school-related information with you, such as emergency alerts, school events, and academic progress updates. It will also help us to ensure that our school is compliant with federal and state regulations, including those related to funding and program eligibility.
To complete the annual census update, login to your Campus Parent Portal account. From the “Menu”, select, “More”, and then “Online Registration”. Please complete your annual census update by May 3, 2024. For further instructions, please visit https://www.ysd.k12.sd.us/o/ysd/page/school-registration
