Today our 4th grade Stewart Stars spent time learning about September 11th. Their little hearts were a mixture of curiosity, heartbreak, and deep gratitude as we talked about the bravery, sacrifice, and love that shone through such a difficult day in history.
This morning’s conversations left us humbled, but what touched us even more was stepping outside at noon recess to see the flag rise above the fire department and wave high above the rooftops. The kids paused, their eyes fixed on it, and you could feel the weight of honor and respect in that moment.
Even at just 9 years old, they understand the importance of remembering and saying thank you to our heroes. Their messages of love remind us all:
✨ Forever grateful. Forever remembering. Never forget. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Nurse Jill Mitzel for her insightful presentation on handwashing hygiene for Stewart Stars! Her interactive approach and hands-on experiment highlighted the importance of hygiene in a way that captivated our students. This experience not only educated but also empowered them to take charge of their health.

Fifth graders in Mrs. Savey's room brushed up on our multiplication facts by playing a card game called Spiral during math WIN time. Learning can be so much fun!!

What a delightful day in Mrs. Moser's second-grade class! 🌈✨ We had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Weddingfeld, who taught us all about spreading kindness. The students enjoyed delicious cupcakes and listened intently to her stories. Thank you, Mrs. Weddingfeld, for making our world sparkle!
