Due to no school today...
After assessing the road conditions in the rural areas, the late start for Yankton School District has been canceled. Yankton School District will not have school today, Monday, December 15, due to the poor road conditions in several rural busing areas. Our first priority is the safety of the students, and the current road conditions in several areas put them at risk at this time.
Yankton Wrestling had a strong night! The Bucks beat Rapid City Stevens 48-26, while the Gazelles fell 24-45 to RCS but bounced back to defeat Sioux Falls Lincoln 42-36. Both teams hit the mats next at the Rapid City Invitational Dec. 12–13. Go Yankton! 🔴⚫🤼♂️🤼♀️

We want to thank everyone for coming and supporting our Yankton High School Bucks and Gazelles Wrestling teams during their Intersquad Dual last night!
We would also like to thank everyone who donated to our program through pledges for pins or the open free will donation last night.
Finally, we would like to congratulate and thank Todd and Lisa Huber for purchasing and winning the silent auction for the old YHS wrestling record board!
All money donated will go directly into the boys and girls wrestling accounts, so they may benefit by having the best experience possible this season!
We are super excited to get this season underway next Thursday, December 4th against Beresford-AH and Watertown!
